Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.

2. How we use cookies

This website does not set any tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies, and we do not use any third-party services that set such cookies on your device. We do store a small preference locally in your browser (see "Theme preference" below), but this is not a cookie and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

3. Essential cookies

Some cookies may be set automatically by your browser or by the hosting infrastructure to ensure the site functions correctly. These are strictly necessary cookies and cannot be disabled.

4. Theme preference

When you choose a light or dark theme, we save that choice in your browser's local storage under the key skette-theme. This is used solely to remember your display preference between visits. It is stored only on your device, is not a cookie, and is not sent to our servers or any third party. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

5. Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how our site is used. Fathom is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track or identify you across websites. The data it collects is fully anonymised and aggregated. Because no cookies or personal data are involved, no consent is required.

6. Google Fonts

This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies or log your IP address when serving the font files. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

7. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Visit aboutcookies.org for guidance on how to manage cookies in all major browsers.

8. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at Evan.Ritter@skette.co.uk.
